Parkman Find: Chloe’s Collections

In mid-December, I hopped into my car and prepared myself for what I thought would be a LONG drive to Parkman to visit with one of our Chamber members, owner Joy Gregory of Chloe’s Collections.Chloe's Collections, Parkman(Chloe’s Collections Florist & Gift Shoppe was opened in 2009. Joy is a proud grandmother, has worked as an oncology nurse, and holds a BA in marketing and business management, AND has studied Floral design at Florida Art Institute.)

The drive wasn’t as long as I thought it would be; but honestly, as I drove I wondered what special qualities I would find about Chloe’s Collections that would make a resident of Dover, Milo, or Guilford want to drive there, especially when those towns offer wonderful flower and gift shops. Well, it didn’t take long before my question was answered.

First I want to say that I truly enjoyed the peaceful drive, AND I was there in about 20 minutes [without speeding]. The minute I walked in, I was beckoned to keep moving through each room, with lovely, beautiful things displayed, hung, and perfectly placed in every square inch of the place. For ANYONE who appreciates sweet, beautiful, handmade gifts, plan to stay a while when you visit.

Joy is an artist. Her wreaths and flower arrangements are stunning. Hand-made gifts, some of which are already prepackaged for ease of gift giving, are ready for the eager-just-need-a-lovely-gift-in-a-hurry shopper. She has homemade candles made and shipped by an out-of- state friend exclusively for Chloe’s Collections, for those who don’t want to buy the same overpriced candles everyone else is buying. They are absolutely stunning, and they smell AMAZING. Joy sells them for $15.00 –  what a great, easy and beautiful gift! She sells her home made potpourri, which her grandmother taught her how to make. But here is the thing I found most unique. This place is a one-stop shop for weddings! From flowers, to tuxedos, to photography.. Have it all booked through Chloe’s Collections. This is a dream come true for a bride!

Proms, formals, this is a great place to find what you need. She personally delivers orders on weekends AND HOLIDAYS! Her prices are competitive.

I would absolutely encourage everyone to support Joy and visit her place. I promise you won’t leave empty handed. She can be found at 713 Maine 150, Parkman, or by phone at 207-876-2767. Her website is
